all rotcore, black flag, minor threat, jerrys kids, MDC, 7 seconds, ANS, cross examination, how we are, adolescents, war sqaud, JFA, any surf. alot more, pretty much old and new hardcore . theres alot more but im to lazy
Burger Violence and Bad Taste were both rad! gotta love the old style sk8 punk. i found the other two to have too much of a new skool sound for my taste. thanks for the head's up...always nice findin out about good new music
The music scene is pretty decent...i live a little north of seattle and alot of great bands come through...Dr Know played thursday and they were killer. The Vibrators played saturday but i went to a party instead cuz i had no loot. Kreator is playin tonight but it's kinda steep and i'm broke. For local bands Hated Noise is rad. I'm homies with all those dudes and Howly Bra from the old Venice punk band Neighborhood watch comes up from LA to do vocals. If you never heard NW you gotta check them out. So killer. Crucial Change is a good Oi-Core band from Sea-town. And we got Toe-Tag with Blain from the Accused / Fartz. The Accused is still goin with a new singer as well. Also Dehumanizers are rad and cool dudes as well. For Psychobilly my homie's old band Graveyard Shift was rad but they broke up
There's a couple of cool bands from here but not many. High Jinks are my favorite, but I think they are breaking up, Let's Dance, Wednesday Night Heroes, Hominid are all good bands from the area.
I like all kinds of punk. Some of my favorite stuff would be the earliest: Clash, Pistols, Alternative TV, the post punk stuff PIL, Joy Division, Gang of Four and the anarcho stuff: Crass, Chumbawamba, Flux...it's hard to really narrow it down though because I love tonnes of punk.
